A Final Note

If you have now decided that a native garden is for you, we strongly recommend you research the source of your native plant purchases. Just because a plant is being sold at a nursery doesn’t mean it was propagated there. If in doubt, have the owner sign the invoice as nursery propagated. If you are transplanting from a wild population on your own property, it is best to not move more than 5 % of the plants or seed unless it is a plant rescue from a proposed construction or development site. You should also get some qualified advice before you commence.
